We needed a phone we could count on in a remote location. Our Panasonic we have has always been great so we sent one to our son and were not disappointed., Love everything about this phone - the price, the way it looks and works - but the ring tone is tinny and weird sounding but I can live w/ that easily enough., We did lots of research, online and in person. We decided on this Panasonic because of the features we needed, and the size of the buttons, which are easy to read.
