New cordless phones arrived as promised.Easy to connect and to get started quickly.A bit upsetting when a voice was heard fromthe handset announcing WHO was calling!!Had to turn that feature off.Otherwise; excellent., Bought these new phones since ours were on their way out; also Panasonic. I did a tremendous amount of research before selecting this particular telephone and decided to purchase at Amazon as the price was the best. I have to say that these new Panasonic telephones are the best we've ever had. The clarity is outstanding. The instructions are very clear and understandable making it easy to set the phone up the way you want. The only thing so far that I was...

The Panasonic's general audio performance was very good, with good speaker phone and volume control. The units were light and easy to move about with good ringing volume. The key placement and action was excellent and appeared quite durable. The keys were excellent and appear quite durable. However, the programming commands required were counter-intuitive, and some required constant referral to the manual. It appears that these programming procedures were designed by engineers and programmers and never tested by the average non-technical users of such a phone. If you like having a directory to make calls quickly, I do not recommend this phone. If y...

I work from home and I got this phone to replace an older Panasonic system. Great sound and range. I have a 4 acre field behind my house and I can walk all the way around the field while on a call and not lose reception. Intercom works well. Like the option to rename each headset. You can put a room name on the headset. If you can then keep it there it makes the intercom much more useful. I have used the bluetooth connection to my cell phone, but don't anticipate making many phone calls using that method. What I did like about it was the ability to transfer my phone book from my cell phone to the handset. It's also nice th...

I purchased this phone with extra handsets for my elderly Mother. She loves them. The lighted keypad makes it easier for her to dial and the sound is very clear. The price - can't beat it!, I just recieved these the other day. I had the earlier models of vtech and they had lasted for quit awhile. Drawback is no power no phone. Its easer to use when you put your saved phone number in it goes to all the others so you don't have to re-enter phone numbers. I would have likeed the speakerphone on the base but they all work pretty good. (using for a week now)rcmac, I have had VTech phones for years - this one is my least favorite...
