I work from home and I got this phone to replace an older Panasonic system. Great sound and range. I have a 4 acre field behind my house and I can walk all the way around the field while on a call and not lose reception. Intercom works well. Like the option to rename each headset. You can put a room name on the headset. If you can then keep it there it makes the intercom much more useful. I have used the bluetooth connection to my cell phone, but don't anticipate making many phone calls using that method.
