I bought a Panasonic phone about 12 years ago, it died and I wanted something to replace it as it was the best speaker cordless phone I could find! This model was the closet I could find to replace the old model and I am very happy with it! Not sure why anyone has had issues with this phone I have had none, the only thing different from the old phone is the older phones speaker was louder this ones not as loud on the hand set as the other was. I use this phone around my home. I love the talking caller id feature. The phones are lightweight and I find the buttons are big and clearly marked. The system uses energy saving technology.
