I've gone with VTech in the past and was extremely happy. This doesn't disappoint! The push-to-talk option makes for a great intercom system in my two story house. (no more shouting room to room and floor to floor). It's extremely easy to set all preferences and the overall feel of this product lets you know it's quality. If you're looking for a phone for a large home I'd HIGHLY recommend this model. Extra hand sets are very affordable and the three it came with were enough for the ground floor, bedroom, and main office.
